In the present paper, we investigate approximation to analytic function having PROPERTY B by complex linear operators sequence in parabolic domain. We apply Gergen, Dressel and Purcell's method to Chlodovsky type complex Szasz operators.

This article presents a parameter uniform convergence numerical scheme for solving time fractional order singularly perturbed parabolic convection-diffusion differential equations with a delay. We give a priori bounds on the exact solution and its derivatives obtained through the problem’s asymp-totic analysis. The Euler’s method on a uniform mesh in the time direction and the extended cubic B-spline method with a fitted operator on a uniform mesh in the spatial direction is used to discretize the problem. The fitting factor is introduced for the term containing the singular perturbation pa-rameter, and it is obtained from the zeroth-order asymptotic expansion of the exact solution. The ordinary B-splines are extended into the extended B-splines. Utilizing the optimization technique, the value of μ (free param-eter, when the free parameter μ tends to zero the extended cubic B-spline reduced to convectional cubic B-spline functions) is determined. It is also demonstrated that this method is better than some existing methods in the literature.

In this paper, we introduce the concept of UNIFORMLY $n$-ideal ofcommutative rings which is a special type of $n$-ideal. We call aproper ideal $I$ of $R$ a UNIFORMLY $n$-ideal if there exists apositive integer $k$ for $a,b\in R$ whenever $ab\in I$ and$a\notin I$ implies that $b^{k}=0.$ The basic properties ofUNIFORMLY $n$-ideals are investigated in detail. Moreover, somecharacterizations of UNIFORMLY $n$-ideals are obtained for somespecial rings.

We examine the uniqueness of the bounded structure of semisimple and Mackey complete UNIFORMLY A-convex algebras. We also consider the particular locally C*-case and the uniform one.

The microstructure and thennal properties of the synthesized block copolymers and terpolymers via atom transfer radical polymerization (ATRP) were studied. The mole fraction of the blocks and chain length of the PVAc-b-PMA block copolymers were estimated with IH NMR spectroscopy. Differential scanning calorimety measurement shows two different transitions at 36°C and 8°C assigned to PVAc and PMA blocks. Thennogravimetric analysis demonstrated the similar thennal degradation behavior of the block copolymers and a three-step degradation around 238, 295 and 345°C were attributed to dechlorination step and decomposition of the PVAc and PMA blocks. Study of thennal properties of PVAc-b-Poly(MA-co-MMA) copolymers indicated that glass transition temperature of second block increased from 49°C to 91°C with increase in MMA mole fraction from 0.358 to 0.733. The losses in the thennal degradation of block terpolymers were similar, and the higher thennal degredation temperature of MA unit has delayed the thennal degredation temperature of MMA in copolymer.

This paper investigates the network location problem for single-server facilities that are subjected to congestion. On each network edge, customers are UNIFORMLY distributed, and their requests for service are assumed to be generated according to a Poisson process. A number of facilities are to be selected from a number of candidate sites, and a single server is located at each facility with exponentially distributed service times. Using queueing analysis, we develop a mixed integer mathematical model to minimize the total travel and the average waiting times for customers. For evaluation of the validity of the proposed model, a numerical example is solved and analyzed using GAMS software. In addition, since the proposed problem is NP-hard, two metaheuristic algorithms including a genetic algorithm and a simulated annealing algorithm are developed and applied for large-size problems.

An experimental study has been carried out to investigate the conditions under which reverse flow occurs from an upper plenum into a single heated tube in which boiling and dryout of Freon 113 is taking place. The effects of reverse flow on the value and position of the critical heat flux was then investigated. An analytical model has been formulated and used for calculating the velocity and thickness of the downwards flowing liquid film.

Let P be a set of n points in ℝ 􀀂 , where d is a constant. The spread (or aspect ratio) of P is the ratio of the distance between the farthest pair of points in P to the distance between the closest pair of points in P. This ratio is an essential factor that appears in many geometric problems. In this paper, we show that the expected value of the spread of a set of n UNIFORMLY distributed point sets is Θ (n 2/d).
